Events

We pride ourselves in the standard of events that we provide for our members. Your LUBS membership provides access to careers advice of the highest standard with a range of sector specific talks, networking opportunities and Q&A sessions.

We also host a number of socials including the sell-out Secret Social and the annual ball which provide the perfect opportunity to form friendships with those beyond your degree course or accommodation circles. Our socials are always in very high demand which is testimony to the LUBS community. One of our most popular events is the society trip- follow our social media accounts so you don't miss the reveal of this years location!

This year freshers fair will undoubtedly be unlike any other. We are determined to maximise virtual opportunities this year and Freshers Fair is no exception. We will be hosting GIAG events online and using our social media channels to promote LUBS opportunities and events- make sure to follow our social accounts so you don't miss out. PERSONAL BRANDING WITH BREWIN DOLPHIN

7th September 2020

We hosted our first virtual event in collaboration with Brewin Dolphin over zoom. This event was a great success and was the perfect way to kickstart the academic year and prime your professional profile for upcoming placement and grad scheme applications.  The event included personal branding and interview advice as well as the opportunity to ask individual questions.
