Our Vice Presidents of sports are committed to achieving the best results on the pitch whilst having the best time off it, meaning that LUBS sport provides the perfect environment to participate in sport at University alongside those with similar interests. We enter league teams for both netball and football and also host a range of sports socials throughout the year to provide a great balance of matches and events.
Netball
fOOTBALL
LUBS Netball is a great way to get involved with sport at University. We have weekly matches for two teams playing in different leagues, both of which have a fun and lighthearted environment which is flexible to suit when you would like to play. We hold regular socials and events with the LUBS Football teams, which allows you to be apart of sports socials night an meet new people.

Timberly Williams
LUBS Football provides members with the opportunity to play at a good level of football but in a more casual environment. Whilst it is still very competitive with our first team going unbeaten in the 2021/22 season. It is also a great opportunity to meet a group of social and likeminded boys. We have two teams that both train and play in matches each week. In addition, there are regular socials involving LUBS Netball, which are always good fun and excellent for off-pitch team bonding.
